Stories is a collection of narratives presenting the miraculous, the tragic,
and the heroic in an ancient land that had at one time all but obliterated
Christianity. The book begins the history of today’s Silk Road revival. The
foreword is by Assemblies of God World Missions Executive Director L. John Bueno.

May 22 prize: Midnight in the City from Onward Books. A reporter
spends time in eight cities, interviewing gang members, prostitutes, runaways,
homeless people, drug dealers, and others. He rides with the police on the
midnight shift. The experiences rock his view of religion and are shared via Midnight
in the City.
